Romance Paranormal

Blythe Daphne is a shifter and an anxious mother. Her Halfling daughter, Hailey, has a heart defect and none of the healers or doctors can do anything for her. In desperation she turns to a faith healer Jacob Gideon and his Sanctuary. Despite some misgivings she goes with him and it isn't long before she realizes she has made a horrible mistake. They have taken Hailey and locked her in her room. Blythe manages to escape, only to come face to face with another shifter ... but this one seems to want to help. She has no idea she just stepped into THE LOST WOLF'S DESTINY.

Lucas Kenyon, escaped the Sanctuary 15 years ago and has worked hard to forget those years and ... his father. But seeing that face on TV and Blythe's had him leaving his safe haven and going back into hell. He can't leave the beautiful mother and her sweet daughter in that killer's hands.

After her escape, she links up the Lucas, trusting him to help her save her daughter. They go in thinking they are alone but find there is so much more going on at Sanctuary than they could imagine. They have no way of knowing how much their feelings would grow as they move step by step to safety.

THE LOST WOLF'S DESTINY is action-packed with a lot of twists and turns that lead the reader on an amazing ride. Lucas and Blythe are perfect match for each other, they will do whatever they have to do to rescue Hailey, and then when they find out there is more going on there, they dive in to do what they can. Author Karen Whiddon doesn't lay out all the facts in one stroke, she lets you learn things little by little and that add to the anticipation of knowing the characters and looking forward to what comes next. You know you will get the answers when she is ready. The couple marks up a few bumpy roads but it leads them to the perfect ending.

SUMMARY

A desperate mother. A scarred man. A powerful bond…

The moment he saw Blythe Daphne on the television news, Lucas Kenyon knew three things: she was a shapeshifter, like him. She was the most desirable creature he had ever seen. And she was in terrible danger.

Now, the wolf in Lucas is driving him to save Blythe and her young daughter from a man he knows is evil personified. A man who believes all shapeshifters are demons straight from hell. But Lucas knows he must never reveal the secret that threatens to tear him apart—not even to the one woman who could heal him.
