Romance

In DIAMOND DUST Caroline Bradley's life is about to take an unexpected and exciting turn. As the stepdaughter of a werewolf she understands shifters and has even made a place for herself in the Takhini Pack. The change comes two-fold when her friend and lover Evan, who happens to be the pack alpha, gets the scent of his real mate. She would never dream of standing in his way of finding his other half. The second comes in the shape of a sexy bear shifter. After some mixed signals from the sexy bear, Caroline soon learns to trust her gut and her heart in his hands

Tyler Harrison is in town to attend a conclave of bear shifters, who will vote for a leader and he hopes to become the leader and straighten out some of the clans that have become a mess and liability. The last thing in the world he planned was to meet up with a very attractive human. But when said human is feisty, independent and knows ways around shifters that is either no holds barred or diplomatic he is a goner.

While Tyler hopes that diplomacy will be used to get the votes he needs others don't care about being diplomatic they want what they want. It is very hard to talk things out when they are shifting and attacking to show strength.

DIAMOND DUST is a sexy, fast moving paranormal book that I was unable to put down. Tyler and Caroline are an amazing couple who start out with a few hits and misses but soon things straighten out and the fireworks begin. I loved that even though Caroline is human she doesn't back down from the big strong shifters, she stands her ground and isn't afraid to call Tyler out when he is a jerk. Vivian Arend has a winner with this one and I can't wait to see what else she comes up with.

SUMMARY

Caroline Bradley is having one hell of a week. Her wolf lover has sniffed out his mate, making her an instant free agent. Not only that, Takhini territory has been overrun with aggressive bear-shifters electing a clan leader, and the wolf pack is feeling the effects—pushing her diplomatic skills to the limit.

Tyler Harrison is a grizzly on a mission. If he’s going to win the majority of the bears’ votes, he needs one final thing: a female companion. The only woman in town with influence over wolves, humans, and more bears than he’d like to admit, is Caroline.

Despite the sexual pull between them, though, Tyler’s not seeking a permanent relationship. And Caroline isn’t looking to be anyone else’s political pawn. But she should have remembered that when shifters are involved, changes happen in the blink of an eye.

Warning: Billionaire bear hero plus kick-ass human heroine equals a sexually volatile power struggle. Get ready for what might be the naughtiest game of tag that’s ever been played in the great outdoors.
