CLAIM ME by J. Kenner is an erotic, sexy and exciting ride. The story between Damien and Nikki is amazing and written beautifully. The intimate and detailed sex scenes will leave you fanning yourself to cool down. With the writing style of Ms. Kenner you almost feel like you are there in the story riding along the emotional rollercoaster with Damien and Nikki.
CLAIM ME starts off with Blaine finishing Nikki's portrait. This is both good and bad. Good because she doesn't have to pose anymore and she will get her million dollars to eventually start her own business, bad because she has no idea where that leaves her and Damien's relationship. She is relived that there are few people who know that she is the one posing for the portrait. That is until the cocktail party a few days later. She learns that Giselle and her husband Bruce know and this is not welcome news, especially since Bruce is her new boss and she doesn't want there to be anything weird between them at the office. Bruce Talks to her later during the party and reassures her that their boss/employee relationship will not change. He proves this a few days later at the office, after she has settled in. When she leaves work that day she is feeling pretty good, until she is accosted outside her building by the paparazzi. She tries to ignore them and their questions until one of the scumbags throws out the question about her being paid a million dollars for posing nude for one of Blaine's paintings that is paid for by Damien Stark. From here CLAIM ME is mostly about Damien trying to protect Nikki the best way he knows how. Whether it is from the paparazzi or him and his secrets. There is so much in the last half of CLAIM ME and it moves so fast, readers will be at the end of the book before they know it.
I enjoyed CLAIM ME and cannot wait to read the final book Complete me and see how the story between Damien and Nikki ends. I like the chemistry between the two characters and how they really do care and love each other. CLAIM ME has everything I love to read in an erotic romance. There is great sex, caring between the characters, intrigue and excitement. If you have not read anything by Ms. Kenner I recommend the Stark trilogy. After I read Complete me, that comes out later this summer, I will be looking at other books written by Ms. Kenner under the names of J.K. Beck and Julie Kenner. Ms. Kenner's writing style has hooked me.
