WOW!! I love this book! It is the second book in the
Thunder Bay series!
Mac and Gina are still going strong as are Cooper and Sarah.
THE NEWCOMER is
mostly about them. Mac's ex wife, Cee Jay has come back to
town. She
says it's to get to know her kids, but Mac isn't buying it.
Gina's daughter
gets dumped by her high school sweetheart and goes through
some bad
times. While she is receiving treatment questions come up
about her
medical history. Questions Gina can't answer without
talking to Ashley's
father. That turns out to be a really good thing for
Ashley. She finally gets
to know her Dad and all about his past. While all of the is
going on she
also gets to know Downy's brother, Frank. She is no where
near ready for
a relationship and he realizes that. He offers her
friendship only and
doesn't pressure her for anymore.
Sarah and Cooper go through some trying times as well.
Sarah finds out
she is getting orders to a new base all the way on the East
Coast. How
can she pull her younger brother Landon out of school right
before his
senior year? How Can she say goodbye to Cooper? Just when
everything
is going their way and Landon finally seems happy, how can
she do this to
him? There must be a way to make it all work. Can she
uproot him again?
In his senior year? Can she ask Coop to take care of him for
a year? No
she can't. Coop just found out he has more family then he
thought and
while it is a beautiful change how can she add Landon to all
of his
responsibilities ? What can she do?
THE NEWCOMER is a great read and I can't wait to continue
with this
series! Robyn Carr is an awesome writer that is always
pulling at your heart
strings! You will be cheering on all the people of Thunder
Bay and turning
the pages late into the night to find out what happens to
each of them! Five
stars all the way!!
With humor and insight, #1 New York Times bestselling
author Robyn Carr looks at letting go of the past-and
