After reading HOT PURSUIT a heart pounding fast paced novel
by Lorie O'Clare, I most certainly will be
following this series. Each book stands alone, so you don't
have to read them in any particular line up.
HOT PURSUIT is number six in a series and oh how I look
forward to reading more of Lorie O'Clare's great reads!
Ben Mercy is the newest bounty hunter to work for King
Fugitive Apprehension, most just call it KFA. Before Ben
started working for KFA, he had befriended a bounty hunter
who had worked there and taught Ben all the ropes of the
business, but now, his friend is being hunted by another
Bounty Hunter who will stop at nothing to capture The
Mulligan Stew Assassin.
Wolf is the other bounty hunter who is tracking down Ben's
friend who the fugitive, but is Ben's friend innocent of
all these crimes? Ben gets a tip as to where his friend
may be hiding out, so does Wolf and they join forces as
they reach the small town that is in the grips of a Mob
boss and his thugs. Both Ben and Wolf meet the loves of
their lives and are both torn as to performing their duty,
or loving and protecting their women.
Zoey Cortez's father is the big Mob boss and he's a
ruthless thug who will stop at nothing to make sure his
daughter marries the man of his choice. Zoey meets Ben and
as they spend more time together, they fall in love. Things
take a turn for the worse when Zoey's father takes his
revenge out on Zoey. What this poor young woman has to put
up with from her horrific father is too much for any human
being and Ben will stop at nothing to protect her. Wolf
meets Zoey's girlfriend Angel and sparks fly between Wolf
and Angel. A very lusty couple indeed!
Lots of
sensuality, murder, thugs and lusty men and women make this
book sizzle!!!!! Oh and let us not forget the Mulligan
Stew Assassin and his woman. Yes, indeed, I lost many
nights of sleep staying up late reading this novel. I could
not put it down and so look forward to reading more of
Lorie O'Clare's good reads!
