secondary characters are absolutely fantastic and add a
light touch to the story.

Bearshifter Cormac is searching for a mate and finds one in
Nell. Nell doesn't want a mate. She's been there and was
left to raise two cubs to adulthood. While trying to
convince her of the suitability of being mates, one of her
sons disappears. Nell finds she must depend on Cormac's
help find him. This story is a return to the author's
Shifters Unbound series and brings in all that is loved
about the series.
She also pops in a number of past characters for the
readers' pleasure. A very good hot short story.
Jean Johnson's contribution is The Hunter's Cabin in
which ex-prince Kierseth and air courier Vielle (Vee) hide
out in a snow covered cabin. After being wrongly accused of
treason Kierseth needs time to figure out his next step and
figure out the very delectable Vee. This story is a return
to the author's Vulland Chronicles.
Of the four I'm afraid this was my least favorite. I found
it really confusing; a little background information would
have been helpful. Though the characters seemed likeable,
there was no depth to them in this short story.
Hanna Martine offers us No Surprise More Magical. Though
David and Kelsey had dissolved their arranged marriage they
must work together to thwart a threat to their world. While
doing so they must figure out why ... if he still wants her
and she still wants him... did they dissolve the arranged
marriage? This offering is an expansion of a previous book
and offers a fascinating world. The main characters were
intriguing and the situation they find themselves in is one
the reader won't be able to wait to see resolved.
All in all, UNBOUND is filled with the things that will
please a paranormal reader: shifters, warriors, enforcers
and guardians. Who could ask for more?
