In the third book of the H.O.T. Cops series, GIVE IN TO ME brings together two opposites. The hero, Rogan Wolfe is an undercover cop in South Beach while the heroine is a stern workaholic named April Pediston. Varying greatly in personality, one would think that these two would never get together, however Lacey Alexander creates combustible chemistry that lights these pages afire!
After saving April from a bar brawl, Rogan cannot seem to keep his hands off of her. Desire seems to consume the both of them and when one kiss leads to another, neither are able to push the other away. In a story that plays around with the "I want you, but shouldn't want you" idea, Alexander explores hidden desires that neither the hero nor heroine knew they had.
There is no question that GIVE IN TO ME is a red hot read! There is seduction to spare in this sizzler, but I also feel like more time needed to be spent on the hero and heroine getting to know each other. The exploration of their newly discovered dominant and submissive sides seemed to take more weight and seemed to unbalance the story a little bit. I hoped for a more concrete romance that felt more steady. Nevertheless, Alexander always delivers well- written stories that readers will have no problem devouring!
