His knowledge of the ancient languages gives her a chance to
expand her knowledge. Lavinia's use of magic is of concern
to Duncan given the increasing powers of the Duke. When he
attacks the Abbey, Lavinia is forced to accompany Duncan
back to Lady Merewen's keep.
This series grabs the readers attention and brings us into a
magical land in the continuing battle of good versus evil.
