Do you have an auto buy author who you practically stalk
bookstores for on release date? If you're like me you have
several, but one of my all time favorites is Nora Roberts.
Release date for THE PERFECT HOPE book three in the Inn
Boonsboro trilogy could not arrive fast enough for me!
When I finally got my hands on THE PERFECT HOPE I was not
disappointed at all!
Once upon a time Hope thought her career would have her
managing a prestigious hotel for a large chain. Never did
she imagine she would find not only career satisfaction, but
personal happiness in a small town working for a local
family running an inn. Here she is however and as her
friends are now settling into loving relationships she feels
a bit left out, but soon Lizzy, the resident ghost of the
inn will be up to her matchmaking ways and Hope might end up
with it all after all.
Ryder Montgomery is one of the owners and renovators of the
inn. He is also the last of three brothers to settle into a
long term relationship. Could Lizzie be plotting to push
Hope and Ryder together? How will they feel about being
manipulated by a spirit albeit a friendly one---who only
wants her own unrequited love settled, so she can finally be
at peace.
With THE PERFECT HOPE Nora Roberts delves into the world of
reincarnation, but does it so smoothly that for readers
unfamiliar with the belief of reincarnation they will think
it a new and clever plot twist.
I personally enjoy the many connected stories which come
from the pen of Ms. Roberts. The Inn Boonsboro
trilogy could not have had a better conclusion than THE
PERFECT HOPE. My hope now is that since Ms. Roberts has
introduced us to Boonsboro and a few of its residents we get
to go back and meet others and catch up with the Montgomery
Clan and see how all are doing.
A new novel of starting over and star-crossed love.
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts
introduces you to the Montgomery brothers—Beckett, Ryder,
and Owen—as they bring an intimate bed-and-breakfast to life
in their hometown.
Ryder is the hardest Montgomery
brother to figure out—with a tough-as-nails outside and
possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and
unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can
resist his sexy swagger. Except apparently Hope Beaumont,
the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro…
As the
former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement
and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the
joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to
be—except for in her love life. Her only interaction with
the opposite sex has been sparring with the infuriating
Ryder, who always seems to get under her skin. Still, no one
can deny the electricity that crackles between them…a spark
that ignited with a New Year’s Eve kiss.
While the
Inn is running smoothly, thanks to Hope’s experience and
unerring instincts, her big-city past is about to make an
unwelcome—and embarrassing—appearance. Seeing Hope
vulnerable stirs up Ryder’s emotions and makes him realize
that while Hope may not be perfect, she just might be
perfect for him…
