In SLEEP NO MORE Eve Duncan has been haunted with feelings
that someone close to her needs help. Sandra, her mother
asks her to help find a woman missing from a mental
hospital. She doesn't understand why her mother wants to
find the missing Beth Avery, until the truth finally comes
out. Beth is Eve's half sister, her older sister.
Sandra gave up Beth to the father's family, the influential
Avery's whose son Richard, the twenty year old father, was
going to some day be the president. They paid off Sandra's
mother, took the baby and gave her to cousins to raise.
When Beth was 17 she was in a skiing accident that left her
with brain damage. She was sent to the mental hospital and
has been there since. Now she is missing and Sandra wants
Eve to find her.
Beth having been helped by a compassionate orderly, who
believed that she is being kept doped up for no reason, is
