Tina Gabrielle hails from my State of New Jersey and the first time I've read one of her books greatly! That said, I was not disappointed with IN THE BARRISTER'S BED.
James Devlin is a Barrister and a darn good one too. He works hard for his clients and he's most successful at it. One day he receives a visit from his grandmother who reveals to him that his father died and that James is now the true Duke of Blackwood. Not the bastard that his entire family has called him all of his life. Apparently, his father told his grandmother on his death bed that he was married to James's mother.
This changes everything for James, who truly loves his position as a Barrister, but he knows his rightful duty and becomes the Duke of Blackwood.
He travels to one of his many homes called "Wyndmoor Manor". This one holds any short lived happy memories of being with his father. When he enters Windmoor he encounters a beautiful and fiesty woman Bella Sinclair.
Both she and James claim to own the property, each purchased it from the same seller. Bella's a young widow who will fight for Wyndmoor no matter how much the Duke claims it's his. She, nor he will leave Wyndmoor until they track down the seller to find out about this scam.
With both James and Bella living under the same roof, things heat up quickly and not in the way of fighting, but sensual heat for each other. Every time he kisses her, she melts, but she stands strong not willing to lose everything. She finds herself falling in love with James, but someone from her past, who is a very dangerous man, enters her life and cause's mayhem. Now she must run away from all she loves to protect them from harm or worse.
There is danger everywhere for her and she can only run so far before she is killed or saved by James.
I loved IN THE BARRISTER'S BED and could not put it down. IN THE BARRISTER'S BED is a must read!
