Romance

Christmas should be presents, thankfulness, and cheer, right? Perhaps so but not for Cadence; where Cadence goes, trouble follows. Patrick and Cadence have been getting along swimmingly, Cadence may even dare to hope for more. Cadence's sociopathic partner, George hasn't tried to off her yet either!

With a Secret Santa to shop for and a hopeful relationship Cadence was doing pretty well overall. You just know however that all this good cheer can't last forever for poor Cadence; murders must take precedence even with Christmas coming. With Cadence and her other personalities, Shiro and Adrienne on the case, this murderer is doomed to fail.

Yes, Shiro and Adrienne make appearances in YOURS MINE AND OURS . Cadence is the main personality, but tyouwill be have fun reading about the Shiro and Adrienne as well. One might wonder why the FBI would hire a woman with so many...oddities, but it really makes sense once one thinks about the perfect agent. Who better to catch a sociopath than a sociopath like her partner, George? Who better to think three different ways than someone with multiple personalities?

YOURS MINE AND OURS is full of characters who will have you laughing hysterically. You will be laughing out loud at their mannerisms and dialogue. There are a few new characters with very distinct personalities that you wiill find both amusing and fun to read about.

I felt that the plot itself was a little slow at times, but the dialogue sped it up immensely. Though some readers may prefer a little more romance, YOURS MINE AND OURS was perfect just the way it was.

SUMMARY

From New York Times bestselling author MaryJanice Davidson comes the next hilarious installment in her laugh-out-loud trilogy featuring an unconventional FBI agent who finds love in the most unexpected places

It’s Christmas season, a holiday Cadence adores. Her relationship with Patrick has been progressing nicely, and they are beginning to wonder if it might be time to bring things to the next level...unprecedented in Cadence’s life. That is until she meets the completely dreamy Dr. Max Gallo and he throws Cadence and her sisters for a tailspin.

And if the threat of Dr. McDreamy weren’t enough there is a new BOFFO employee, Emma Jan Thyme, whose reputation precedes her. She has a doctorate from Harvard, speaks seven languages, and is a remarkable actress. But she’s harboring a secret of her own.

In addition to adjusting to a new co-worker’s foibles, shopping for her Secret Santa, and trying to find the perfect Christmas gift for Patrick, a new serial killer appears to have blown into town. For four Junes in a row perfectly ordinary fourteen year olds have disappeared. The only things the victims have in common are their ordinariness...and it’s up to Cadence to figure out the case before another innocent teen dies.
