Phineas and Bryn may be a bit of an odd couple. Bryn hates, despises, and loathes vampires. She wants nothing to do with them and believes they are good for nothing. This creates a problem when she has to spend time with Phineas...a vampire. Phineas has devoted himself to stopping the Malcontents, but finds his job to be harder than he had anticipated. What happens when a vampire hater and a vampire are forced together? A potential romance, that's what.

Bryn is a strong female character. She has wit and intelligence and is slightly grumpy. Phineas is actually a bit of a gentleman. He and Bryn are very different, but may be able to share a mutual love.

Readers will enjoy watching as the mutual distrust between Phineas and Bryn turns towards attraction. When the two finally overcome their differences, sparks fly.

Sparks has always crafted wonderful, believable love scenes, but these were terrific. Readers will become very invested in their relationship. The action scenes and exciting surprises make WANTED: UNDEAD OR ALIVE a must-read.
