Romance Paranormal

What do you get when you combine a Viking with modern day Navy SEALS? An incredibly sexy, fast-paced romance! Alison and Ragnor make a great couple in Sandra Hill's latest Viking book. Alison is intelligent, brave, and funny while Ragnor will definitely have the reader laughing with his funny antics and quick wit. The secondary characters create a cohesive group that caters to Ragnor's jokes and will amplify them for the reader.

The romance between Alison and Ragnor starts out relatively strong...he is a Viking! Ragnor will both charm and rebuff the reader with his demanding airs and assumptions. The reader will be glad to know that Alison isn't a woman to be pushed around, however. Their relationship develops over the course of the novel and is perhaps unrealistic, but doesn't make Ragnor any less swoon-worthy. Their chemistry is undeniable and makes the story more exciting.

The plot itself moves fast. The reader will get to know the main characters very well and the secondary characters fairly well. Sandra Hil does a good job of maintaining a professional edge while still making jokes. Any fans of Sandra Hill just have to pick up the reprint of WET & WILD!
