SLADE is an interesting take on human, werewolf, and vampire relations, particularly as Slade and his family represent the Renegades, not those in charge. Jane's reactions were refreshingly real, and the relationships among the vampire brothers helped make this a fun, quick read. Any fan of Paranormal Romance will want to dive into the unique world found in the Shadow Wrangler series.
