Any fan of Yasmine Galenorn knows that this next
installation of the Otherwold series will be fast-paced and
action-charged. The D'Artigo sisters are back. These ex-
operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency know what
they are doing and are strong, witty female characters. Just
when things have calmed down and the sisters are preparing
for a friend's wedding, things start heating up again. Evil
coyote shifters are back in town with another trick up their
sleeves. They have banded together with a group of sorcerers
to do what they do best, cause mayhem. The D'Artigo sisters
must figure out the purpose of this alliance and what will
happen if this band of misfits succeed.
The sisters are as personable as ever, each sticking out to
the reader. The love scenes are enviable and passionate. The
fight scenes are passionate in a different way; the reader
will be caught up in flying fists and dangerous weapons.
Everything these sisters do involve some sort of action or
mystery. The secondary characters actually have a lot to do
with the plot, it is interesting to see the effect secondary
characters have on the overall plot when they interact with
the mystery that is unfolding.
The romance adds to the mystery. The reader is not always
hyper-focused on the mystery; the romance offers a little
break from the fighting and scheming. The book contains
strong female characters that are able to hold their own
against powerful supernaturals, always a plus. If you are a
reader who enjoys paranormal fiction mixed with mystery and
romance, SHADED VISION could be the book for you!
It's Valentine's Day and the D'Artigo women are preparing
for their friend Iris's wedding. But when Delilah and her
sisters get word that the Super Community Center has been
bombed, things get really ugly,
The evil coyote shifters-the Koyami-are back, and Newkirk,
their new leader, has joined forces with a group of rogue
sorcerers. Then, just when they think things can't get
worse, the demon lord Shadow Wing sends in a new front man,
and life really goes to hell...
