Romance Erotica Sensual

The eldest Quinn son, Kellan, fell in love with his first kiss at 15 with an elusive fairy. Years later, Kellan's brothers Danny & Riley have each found the love of their life, both American women. Kellan's work as an architect keeps him traveling but he is now home in Ballykirk, Ireland when he finds his "mermaid" washed up on the beach. Pulling him down for a kiss before losing consciousness, the other worldly looking woman is the most beautiful Kellan has ever seen. The only recourse is to carry her to his home and seek help.

Gelsey "Gigi" Woodson, aka the mermaid, has been running from herself for years with her fast life fed by too much money. Punching a photographer in the face while in Italy has her facing an assault charge and possible jail. With divorced parents, Gelsey's happiest moments have been with her grandmother in Ireland. Her progressing involvement with Kellan is dampened as she hides that she is a tabloid princess and celebrity heiress who has been an unhappy pawn between her parents. Her grandmother has died and left a trust fund and her home Winterhill to Gelsey. Five years as a party girl has Gelsey questioning her true feelings for Kellan. Each is afraid that what they have found is too good to be true and fires their struggle in declaring their love for each other. The mind blowing sex alone isn't enough to persuade them it's a lasting relationship.

I absolutely love this series, The Mighty Quinns. Each brother has his own tale to tell and lesson to learn about love. Kellan might be my favorite of the three. This was such an interesting and moving story of two people destined for each other from childhood. I feel in love the magic of Kellan as he is a man all women dream of possessing. Gelsey is a lost little girl finding her true self. The only fall back to this story is that it's far too short! Kate Hoffman is such a talented writer who has a way with words to keep you on your toes and absolutely craving the next word; all set in beautiful Ireland.

SUMMARY

The woman lying unconscious on the Irish shore near Ballykirk can't possibly be a mermaid...can she? Still, architect Kellan Quinn wastes no time saving her life. And soon she's recovering in his home—setting his fantasies ablaze in his bed! But heiress Gelsey Woods is no mermaid. Instead, she's hiding from the mess she's made of her life so far. And something about Kellan—and Ballykirk—feels like home, especially during the holidays. Unfortunately, Gelsey's past is catching up with her quickly. And her only Christmas wish is that Kellan will still love his gift from the sea once he learns the truth....
