Romance

Divorced Madeline O'Connor has the best of everything as Chief Executive of an extremely successful lingerie boutique, Felicity International, located in Manhattan. Single and rich, she has life by the tail until she hears from her nephew, Jonathan, of her estranged sister's battle with cancer and imminent death. Traveling to Italy to attempt reconciliation with her sister Cassie, she is also given a chance to renew her relationship with her nephew, now a novice at Monastero de Saint Valentine. Events surrounding Jonathan's birth have formed a wedge for over 7 years between the sisters. While in Italy the gorgeous soft spoken Anthony Lamberti, a monk, turns her world upside down with feelings she didn't know existed. Maddie is faced with deep soul searching when they fall desperately in love. When Carrie dies, Maddie finds a new life she would never have dreamed possible yet one that is most perfect for her. Surrounded by the breath taking setting of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, FINDING FELICITY, is an extremely nostalgic story of torn feelings between sisters. Madeline finds a consuming love with Anthony with the belief he is in her soul, body and thoughts forever. Even though Maddie's story will tear at your heart, it leaves you with a firm belief in the mysterious ways that God works. I thoroughly enjoyed this heart rendering story of a forbidden love.

SUMMARY

Madeline O'Connor was happy. Or was she? When she learns that her estranged sister is gravely ill, she leaves behind her life in Manhattan to be at her sister’s side in Italy. There, she discovers an ancient Benedictine monastery that accommodates travelers, and she decides to stay there, among the monks. Everything in her life turns upside down when she falls for Brother Anthony Lamberti, a soft-spoken Italian completely different from the men she knows in New York. Together Madeline and Anthony find love for the first time, and learn that life and love always find a way. Loving Anthony creates a new life for Madeline. A new life she would never have imagined and yet is perfect for her in every way.
