Romance | Fantasy

Betrayed and murdered by someone close to him, Lokan Krayl died for his daughter and has spent a long time stuck in never ending limbo. Thanks to his brothers' efforts, his body and his soul have finally reunited but he's still stuck in the Underworld and will continue to be there until he can find someone to lead him through the Twelve Gates of Osiris and into the Topworld. Desperate to protect his daughter and warn his brothers' of the danger they're surrounded by, Lokan's only hope lies in a Walker, a supernatural who has the ability to guide souls out of the Underworld. When one does show up, it's the last person Lokan expected to see; the mother of his daughter, a woman he thought was merely human.

Seven years ago, despair over her own situation led Brynja Carr into having a one night stand with Lokan, which resulted in the birth of their daughter, Dana. Now she's the only one with the ability to help save Lokan and her motivation is her daughter's safety. Without Lokan there to protect Dana, Bryn fears for what may happen to her, but it's not just a matter of walking into the Underworld and going through twelve gates to get Lokan to the Topworld. With every gate comes a new obstacle which only gets harder and harder to complete as they get through more gates. The Underworld isn't in the habit of letting souls free, and it'll do anything to make sure no soul escapes its clutches.

Eve Silver delivers the book fans of the Otherkin series have been waiting for. Lokan Krayl finally gets his story in BODY OF SIN and many of the questions readers have been asking have finally been answered. This series has fascinated me from book one and I devoured this story in one sitting. I couldn't wait to see how things go for Lokan and Bryn. With danger, adventure and enough steamy chemistry to singe the pages, BODY OF SIN delivers an exceptional ending to an exciting series about the Krayl brothers. There's still so much about the Otherkin world I want to learn about, so I hope and pray Ms. Silver continues this series, even though there are no brothers left.

SUMMARY

The ultimate fall from grace...

Once the favorite son of the Lord of the Underworld, Lokan Krayl held enviable privileges and powers. Powers that led to a devastating betrayal—murder.

Resurrected by his immortal brothers, Lokan is still trapped in purgatory. He has no way to contact his family. He has no answers. In order to find the truth about his death, and who killed him, he must escape his prison. And there’s only one way out: through the twelve gates of his eternal enemy, Osiris.

But Lokan has help. Bryn Carr, the woman who duped him once before, is his beautiful yet unwanted guide. She’s been sent by his brothers to aid him. She’s his last hope. Lokan must place his fate—and that of the mortal and immortal worlds—in the hands of the one woman he can never trust.
