Debra White Smith writes suspenseful, exciting, and inspirational romances with plenty of physical attraction between the two main characters without crossing the line past the borders of the inspirational genre. She manages to keep the stories God-centered without being at all preachy. The main characters' personal growth toward a Christian- centered spirituality is handled deftly and grows naturally from the events in her skillfully-plotted tales. The book also contains questions for discussion after each story making this volume a fine choice for a book club.
