Supermodel Livia Blake finally takes a much needed vacation from all the glamor of her normal life to help her best friend scout wedding reception venues, including the Chambers family winery owned by her fiance's family. She never expects to run into Hunter Chambers, single father and part owner, who makes her blood boil with his attitude and sex appeal.
Livia is not what Hunter expects. Oh yeah, she's gorgeous and maybe a bit headstrong, but she reveals traits he would never associate with a supermodel, traits that he finds alluring. But her life is on the runway and his is in the vineyard. It is unlikely that they could make it work, despite the undeniable attraction between them.
Ann Christopher is a favorite romance author of mine. Her books are always smart, fun and sexy, and SEDUCED ON THE RED CARPET is no exception. Christopher turns a phrase like few contemporary romance authors, and she writes sexy scenes with the best of them. Livia and Hunter are destined to get together from the very first page. The only problem I have is that the title suggests at least a portion of the story would take place in or around the glitz of the runway, but in fact, the entire story takes place in Napa Valley, far away from Livia's world. Nonetheless, it's a delectable read, another Christopher romantic treat.
