Ann Christopher has been in love with love stories since the fifth grade, when she read Patricia Clapp's Jane-Emily—or maybe it was sixth grade, when she read Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. At any rate, she grew up, went to law school and worked as an attorney for six years, handling more divorces than she cares to remember. She "retired" several years ago, before the birth of her second child, to stay home full-time, not realizing that being a lawyer was the easier job. After a while, she fired up the computer and began to indulge her passion for love stories and playing with words. Now she writes romances and is much happier focusing on the beginnings of love affairs rather than the endings. She lives in Cincinnati and spends her time with her family, which includes two spoiled cats, Sadie and Savannah.
