Are you a fan of trilogies? What about Harlequin's
SuperRomance line? Do you like a bit of suspense in
your stories? If you have answered yes to at least two of
these questions, then I think you're going to like Molly
O'Keefe's new series The Notorious O'Neills.
Savannah O'Neill has lived a somewhat sheltered life. She
refuses to venture far from home in fear of giving her heart
and having it broken. Those that Savannah does
love (her daughter, grandmother, and brothers) get her total
love, no questions asked. The only person missing from that
equation is the mother who abandoned her and her brothers
and hasn't come back to claim them.
Matt Howe, if that is truly who he is, is having trouble
loving himself. An accident he was unaware of and
couldn't prevent has left him adrift in life. His
father senses that Matt needs to find a focus in life, and
sends him to Savannah's home in search of some
missing gems.
Naturally Matt can't just ring the doorbell and announce
that he's looking for missing gems. He can however answer
the ad for a handyman, and hope to get into the house and
conduct a search.
As Matt begins to feel welcome into the O'Neill home,
Savannah's suspicions about who he is and just why he is
there grow, but so does her attraction to him. Is she
willing to risk her heart? Can Matt set aside his own
issues and move forward to a lasting relationship with
Savannah and her daughter?
For the answers to those questions and others, you will need
to read The Temptation of Savannah O'Neill for yourself, and
the following books in The Notorious O'Neills.
A family's bad reputation is tough to shake off. Just ask
Savannah O'Neill. Despite her straitlaced job as a
librarian, despite her living a private life, the O'Neill
family wildness still sparks town gossip. And the arrival of
Matt Woods—sexy handyman and complete stranger—isn't helping.
Watching him work makes Savannah long to take a trip into
indulgence. That's so not a good idea—she's been there
before and still hears the rumors. But Matt is much too
delicious for this O'Neill to resist. It's a shame there's
more to Matt than being good with his hands. Because when
his true reasons for seeking her out are revealed, he could
become another affair Savannah lives to regret.
