Mack McKinley has been leading his team since they were kids. He is the reason they all went into the Ghostwalker program. Mack had treated Jamie like a sister until they had a relationship. Unfortunately Jamie didn't see the relationship going anywhere so she left. Mack was devastated until he and his team stumbled upon her in a warehouse that was supposed to be housing dangerous materials.

Jamie has missed Mack more than he will ever know but she has to make her own way. Her gift is for computers and ferreting out information for the head of the entire Ghostwalker program. She also has found out damaging information about Dr. Whitney that could blow the whole program apart. She doesn't know who to trust any more. Can she even trust Mack and her former team? She knows she will do everything in her power to keep them safe.

Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker stories just keep getting more and more fascinating as she delves into the program and why it came about. As much as I enjoy reading about the Carpathians, I believe I enjoy the Ghostwalkers just a wee bit more. As always, I cannot wait for the next book!
