Well, he does have a love potion that some woman sold him, if there was someone to use it on. When newcomers show up at his hut, he has an immediate interest in Nicole. However, he quickly hides his true reasons for being on the island. It seems that they share a common bond in that they both are reading Passionata's book. When Nicole starts seducing him, he lets nature take it course. Will he be satisfied with her terms? Will he ever be able to let her go?

Cindi Myers has written a fantastic contemporary romance that even comes with its own pirate's treasure. She truly has created a fun, exciting tale filled with secrets. Adam takes an instant distrust of Ian thinking he is there to steal the treasure from him while Ian sees Adam as an obstacle in his path to Nicole. Neither of them seems to know the power of a female on a mission. AT HER PLEASURE is a sexy read that interweaves the history of Passionata and her island with the present-day excursions of the treasure hunters. I liked this fast paced adventure, and it appears that the fun is only beginning as Adam still has a tale to tell.
