"A romance that will have readers speed-reading to the next tension-filled scene, if not the climax"

Romance Suspense

The marriage of Sierra Grayson to billionaire Blade Navarone ended the Grayson saga but fans of Francis Ray and the Graysons series clamored for more.

Ms. Ray has not disappointed her fans. THE WAY YOU LOVE ME begins a new series about the friends of the Graysons. First up is Shane Elliott, chief of security for Navarone Enterprises. Shane is an intelligent, exceedingly competent hunk of a man whose presence never goes unnoticed. When he runs into Paige Albright—literally—on the grounds of the home of Trent Masters and his wife, Dominique Falcon-Masters, Sierra's cousin, he can't get her out of her head.

Paige, nearly engaged to the son of one of her deceased father's business associates, is trying to get to the bottom of her mother's secrets, secrets that have taken her mother mysteriously away following her father's death and seem to have something to do with Trent.

When Mrs. Albright engages Shane to protect her daughter and help her to stop Paige from falling into the arms of a man unworthy of her, Shane is leery but decides this is his chance to make up for the less than honorable impression he left with her when they first met. Except he can't tell Paige who he is or why he's there, or even that they've previously met.

Will Shane help Mrs. Albright to show Paige she's with the wrong guy? Will Paige forgive either of them when she finds out what they're up to? The sparks between Paige and Shane sizzle off the page. As always, Ms. Ray has crafted a page turner that will have readers speed-reading to get to the story climax, or at least to the next tension-filled scene between these two characters.

I have yet to read a Francis Ray novel that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I don't suspect I ever will.

SUMMARY

Nothing gets to Shane Elliott. A former Army Ranger, now head of security for a wealthy real estate tycoon, Shane can handle whatever life throws at him—until he meets the beautiful, kindhearted Paige Albright. She’s about to inherit a fortune, and Paige’s mother has asked Shane to investigate her boyfriend. It should have been a simple, standard assignment for Shane…if only Paige’s seductive mix of strength and vulnerability didn’t leave him wanting her for himself.

All her life, Paige has put others’ needs before her own, even going so far as choosing a man to please her father. Now her mother’s mysterious houseguest is tempting her to go after what she truly wants…even if it’s the cool, assertive, irresistible Shane himself. But is he who he appears to be? And how can Paige know whether to trust her own judgment—and their red-hot attraction?
