Romance Paranormal | Romance | Contemporary

Back to attend her sister's wedding, former Dairy Queen Annie Winston hasn't been to her hometown of Big Knob, Indiana, since she married the football hero and left town. Now divorced and twenty pounds heavier, she's just looking to log some stories about small town living for the newspaper she works for before heading back to the big city. Surprisingly, it's the shy computer geek who has Annie rethinking going back to the city. Especially since he thinks Annie's perfect just the say she is, extra 20 pounds and all, and he's promised to help her find the monster she saw in the lake. Jeremy Dunstan has been in love with Annie since they were in high school, but as the class nerd, he never stood a chance against the football hero. Jeremy might just get a second chance, since Annie's back in town for a week and he's the best man at her sister's wedding. First though, he needs to convince her he really is interested in women. With a little unsolicited help from the town's matchmaking wizards, Dorcas and Ambrose, Jeremy might just get the chance he's been waiting his whole life for. By dangling a lovesick lake monster in front of her as a prize, they're sure they can get Annie to realize just how perfect Jeremy really is for her. All it takes is a little hex. Vicki Lewis Thompson shows her brilliance once again and delivers the perfect follow up to OVER HEXED. WILD AND HEXY is full of delightful characters that'll have you laughing long after you've finished the book. Jeremy and Annie are perfect together. You'll never get bored with these two and their antics. Let's just say I'll never look at an éclair the same way again. With Dorcas and Ambrose leading the cast of secondary characters, there won't be a moment of boredom to be found. Add to the mix the return of George the dragon, who I love, and a new lake monster, along with some poker cheating raccoons, and you've got the makings of a roller coaster ride that's not going to be forgotten anytime soon. Ms. Thompson will definitely put a hex on you with this book and you won't be able to get enough of it.

SUMMARY

Nerdy computer whiz Jeremy Dunstan has wanted Annie Winston since high school, but back then, he lacked the courage to woo her. Now fate has given him a second chance; Annie is returning to Big Knob for her younger sister's wedding, and Jeremy's the best man. Unfortunately, coming face to face with the woman of his dreams still has the power to turn his genius brain to mush. Perhaps what he really needs is a touch of magic.
