When Navy Seal Zachary "Pretty Boy" Floyd discovers the
woman he had a fling with in Afghanistan six years ago died,
leaving behind a son he never knew, Zach takes him. As
punishment for sneaking the kid into the United States, Zach
has just been assigned to teach the new WEALS program, the
female version of the SEALs. As if having a son, Samir,
a.k.a. Sammy the Snot, who hates him and has run off every
babysitter imaginable isn't bad enough, now he has to put up
with a bunch of whiny women. Things start looking up though,
when one of those whiny women turns out to be the hot
eleventh century Norsewoman he hasn't been able to forget,
even though she rebuffed him.
Britta escaped her evil father, a nunnery and the eleventh
century, only to land smack dab in the middle of the WEALS
program Zach-hairy is teaching. When Zach tells her he
wished for her one night so she could babysit for Sammy,
she's outraged. That doesn't stop her from falling for Sammy
anyway. If only she could stop herself from falling for
Sammy's dad now, especially when he offers to give her the
multiple orgy-as-hims she's heard so much about. That may
just be incentive enough for her to get DOWN AND DIRTY with
Zach after all.
This is my first Sandra Hill book and I loved it. Right from
the opening chapter with Sammy the Snot and his smart mouth,
I couldn't get enough of DOWN AND DIRTY. It was
electrifying, fast paced and entertaining throughout. Britta
will have you cheering as she tries to make her way through
the twenty-first century and understand what things likes
orgasms are. Zach will have you panting but, really, it's
Sammy the Snot who steals the show and your heart. The time
travel aspect wasn't too prevalent, but the humor is rampant
and will keep you in stitches for hours. If the other books
in this series are anything like DOWN AND DIRTY, I can't
wait to hit the bookstore so I can pick them all up.
Punished for an indiscretion, Navy SEAL and all-around
tough guy Zachary Floyd is forced to head a new SEAL-like
program for women. There he meets an alluring Norsewoman,
who's escaped a nunnery, her father, and the eleventh
century altogether.
