WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE is the best anthology I've read in a long time. It delivers three terrifying tales of the supernatural where the dynamic of each story is very different and intriguing.

In Deliver Us From Evil by Allison Brennan, Demonologist, Anthony Zaccardi, works for the Vatican and lives in Europe. When the murder of twelve priests at a small mission in the States seems to be the work of a Demon, he's alerted by an old friend of his. Zaccardi is determined to find out why this has happened, but first he must get the local police and sheriff, Skye McPherson, to cooperate with him. McPherson, who not only believes in the law and not at all about the supernatural or demonology, must be convinced. Skye has lost her faith isn't going to be easy to for Zaccardi to convince that he is the one to summon the demon and send him back to Hell.

Then in Reason to Believe by Roxanne St. Claire, Psychic Arianna Killian's television show is a way to make a living. She has the true gift and ability to communicate with the other side. It's a passion for her to help people in the land of the living to heal through her abilities. Arianna's being threatened with e-mails and fearing for her life hires the Bullet Catchers Bodyguard Co. to investigate. Bodyguard Chase Ryker doesn't believe in psychics but he believes someone is after Arianna Killian. As Arianna's visions begin coming true Chase reevaluates and starts taking her visions seriously. Chase and Arianna learn to work as a team, believe and trust each other as the killer gets closer.

And finally in Redemption by Karin Tabke Zach Garret is given a second chance to make things right. On his way to Hell he is waylayed by an Angel, given a choice to keep descending or help save the world. He must help his ex-fiancee, Danica Keller, believe she is the chosen one of the Starkepers and only she can save the world as they know it or hand it over to the . Danica is reluctant to believe Zack. The last time she trusted him he betrayed her. As the story moves along Danica and Zach are shown that they were both betrayed by Zach's partner. Danica and Zach must ultimately depend on each other and find what they are missing, the alternative is death for them and evil to reign.

Allison Brennan, Roxanne St. Claire, and Karin Tabke have created complex stories with so much detail and suspense that you do not want them to end. They explore elements of conflict, love, suspense, and have well executed closure. It's rare that you get three excellent stories in one anthology. I'm looking forward to reading more by these authors.
