Caleb Peachey returns to his home in the Pennsylvania Amish area to handle his first project manager job for Jinx, Inc., a treasure-hunting company. He plans to get in and get out, toting pearls. The ex-SEAL doesn't want to stay in the area because his family is there -- the Amish family who shunned him years before for not following their ways.

But Caleb doesn't count on historical archeologist Claire Cassidy. He's forced to consult with Claire to maintain the integrity of the site from which they hope to recover the pearls. But Claire's a little crazy and Caleb finds the job getting more convoluted every day.

Claire knows that Caleb isn't ready to settle down, but she has a heckuva time resisting his confident charm. As she watches him reconnect with a brother who's also been shunned and handle the excavation with authority and skill, it becomes even harder to resist his sexy machismo.

Ms. Hill brings back the characters guaranteed to tickle you. Despite the fact that this romance centers on Claire and Caleb, it's eccentric Tante Lulu and the fabulous cast of secondary characters that make us anxiously await the next book in the series. A fun light read.
