Goddess of Love
P.C. Cast

Fantasy | Romance Paranormal

Venus takes a holiday -- in Tulsa. Seriously! Being a goddess isn't all fun and games. Well, actually it is, but things can get a little boring sitting around eating peeled grapes and being massaged by nymphs.

Venus, the Goddess of Love, has been married to the same boring god for centuries and it's starting to feel like eons. At the urging of a friend, Venus visits Tulsa in hopes of finding fun and adventure, not to mention all the good shopping and martinis that might be waiting around the next urban corner.

Pea Chamberlain is almost the invisible woman. No one remembers her; especially not attractive men. And definitely not Griffin DeAngelo, the sexy fireman she's wildly attracted to. Pea's little, she's plain, she's Jane Eyre incarnate. And did I mention dorky? Yes, Pea is dorky. Everything changes when Venus notices her and decides to make Pea her pet project. Pea clinches the bargain when she invokes the goddess, thereby sealing her future...or fate. It depends on who's telling the story.

After Venus proves to Pea she really is the Goddess of Love and not some nut job who spends too much time in martini bars, the makeover begins. It starts with Pea's attitude; clothes, shoes, hair and makeup to follow; then dance, diction and finally, the art of love. Pea can't lose with the goddess in her corner, at her side, planning her every move. Or can she? Has Pea inadvertently let the fox in the hen house? Can more than one spell be at work here and with so many crazy cooks stirring the broth, who knows what trouble they'll manage to cook up for Pea and Griffin.

It's always a good time when you visit one of P.C. Cast's worlds. And by Zeus' swinging testicles, I predict that you'll be thoroughly entertained and laughing out loud all the way through. Strong, sexy, funny women are Cast's trademark. GODDESS OF LOVE is a delight.
