Lord Drake Boscastle is known for his charm and way with
the ladies. But he's bored and looking for fun -- something
he expects to find that very night with one of the most
celebrated courtesans in England. But on that very night,
he runs into Eloise Goodwin, a conservative, beautiful
governess who won't leave his thoughts, even when he's
faced with the beauty awaiting him. In a move totally
unlike him, Drake begins a campaign to win Eloise, as his
mistress, of course. Because he would never dream of
settling down and, besides, he can tell she's very
attracted to him.
Eloise wishes Drake Boscastle would go away. It's hard
enough keeping up with her charge, who is determined to
sneak off and do as she darn well pleases. But oh, he is
handsome. And sexy. Almost irresistible. But he just wants
a mistress and Eloise is not going to go in that direction.
She may be running from a disastrous past, but she's a
respectable woman.
I adore the Boscastle family. These wonderful men and women
are perfect storybook heroes and heroines. Drake is a great
character, as is Eloise (who doesn't stand a chance of
resisting Drake...). I love this series and highly recommend
it.
Lord Drake Boscastle has everything--smoldering good looks,
extreme wealth, and devilish charms. Everything, that is,
except true happiness. Hoping to alleviate his growing
discontent, he is due to meeet one of the most celebrated
courtesans in England for a heated rendezvous. But on the
scheduled night of pleasure, Lord Drake's world is turned
upside down by Eloise Goodwin, a wholesome, spirited
governess with voluptuous curves and a beguiling wit. Even
as an experienced seductress waits to satisfy his every
need, Lord Drake cannot forget his encounter with Eloise.
Although Eloise is swept off her feet by the irresistibly
handsome rake, she has more pressing matters to address. Her
rebellious young charge has escaped into the night with a
local rogue and is nowhere to be found. Stepping in to
assist, Lord Drake must resist his desire to indulge the
longing passion he feels for Eloise. But once a scoundrel,
always a scoundrel... or has the untamable Lord Drake at
last been tamed?
