Nick Pellisante, agent in charge of the FBI's Crime Unit,
finally has Dominic Cavello, known as the Electrician, in
custody. After three long and exhausting years of chasing
the famous Mob boss, Nick is ready for the trial to begin
and the Electrician to be put behind bars for good.
Andie DeGrasse, a struggling actress and single mom, does
not want to be on this jury. She tries to avoid being
selected but is chosen anyway. As the trial begins and
damaging testimony is presented, the jury becomes uneasy.
Their anxiety is heightened when they are sequestered due
to a threat made on the trial judge. While traveling to the
jury's hotel, tragedy strikes and Andie becomes an
intricate player in a cat-and-mouse game that will cost her
more than she is willing to pay.
Andie and Nick travel to the end of world together, from
New York to the Mediterranean Sea to South America, to
bring the Electrician and his cohorts to justice.
I loved this novel!! JUDGE & JURY is action-packed from the
first page to the last. You will get caught up in the chase
and the connection that Nick and Andie find while on their
adventure. Once again, James Patterson, in
collaboration with Andrew Gross, pulls you into this
riveting story and sweeps you into a world of crime and
justice.
Senior FBI agent Nick Pellisante is closing in on the
notorious mob boss "The Electrician," when the scheduled
sting goes spectacularly awry. Two FBI agents are dead, the
boss is wounded, and Pellisante vows the Electrician's next
move will be from a jail cell.
Andie Echeverra, a part-time actress and a single, full-time
mom, is assigned her next role as Juror #11 in the landmark
trial against Mafia Don Dominic Cavello. Everybody is on
edge. No one has ever crossed the man whose orders have made
entire families disappear.
Though Cavello's influence extends across blue uniforms and
black robes, the case should be open-and-shut. But the legal
system fails with devastating results, and Nick and Andie
are the only ones left to seek justice. To stop the
Electrician, they must take matters into their own hands.
They are the judge and jury now.
