friend! The Must Read book of the year!”
I feel a connection to the name Maggie, since it's a nickname for the name Margaret. That was supposed to be my birth name, and somehow Peggy was put on my birth certificate instead. I've always liked the name Maggie myself, and grew up envious that I couldn't use that nickname, while growing up, and still to this day, along with a couple others. I enjoyed reading your posting, and could picture your Husband's Grandmother, going out the door to work in her garden. It brought back memories of me, many moons ago, when I had gardens of my own, and had a certain time set aside, to go out and work in my garden. She sounds like she was a wonderful lady, who had a full life, and you have great memories of her, so her life lives on. I'm looking forward to reading your book, more than you know, and have put it on my TBR list, to read it this Spring, in honor of your Husband's Grandmother, while everything is starting to sprout!! Thank you for coming here to let us know about your latest book, which I know is going to be a big seller!! I'm sorry to have gotten a little long-winded in my response, as well!! Hi, Peggy! Your comment was such fun to read. I, too, often wished I'd been named Margaret and could be called Maggie. But my parents just named me plain old Peggy. Maybe because they were fans of the Lennon Sisters? Who knows. Thanks for stopping by. (Peggy Webb 5:16pm March 24, 2015)
The screen door reminds me of my mother's house. I look forward to reading about Maggie. (Leona Olson 8:54am March 25, 2015)
