"I'm sixteen, live in Buckingham Palace, my father is
the Royal
Surgeon to Queen Victoria, and I have a price on my head. I'm
wanted for high treason - stealing medicine and knowledge
from the
rich to treat the poor. They call me the Robin Hood Surgeon and
believe I'm a man, but I can't confess, for not only would they
send me to the gallows, but my unsuspecting father as well. I'm
grateful to my secret band of friends for helping me maneuver
through London as we battle the deadly mechanical dogs, but
it's
becoming more difficult because my feelings are so torn between
Peter and Benjamin." Charlotte Sycamore

Re: The Incredible Charlotte Sycamore
Because I have a couple of dear friends who live in England, I've had this strong attachment to reading any books that have to do with Britain. It didn't take their friendship to be drawn to these books, because the attachment has always been there. The friendship just makes these books more meaningful. Your book sounds like a wonderful read, as well as a bit of a History lesson, rolled into one book, and I'm really itching to get my hands on a copy!! The cover is beautifully done as well!! Congratulations on your book, and I'm sure it will do well, since there are other people out there who share the same love of Britain, as well as the Monarchy, like I do!! Thank you so much, Peggy! Your lovely comments about my book mean a lot. People from Britain are wonderful people. I've enjoyed meeting them. The UK has such a rich history, beautiful architecture in London, and the Monarchy is always interesting. Even little Prince George is fun to watch. (Kate Maddison 2:56pm August 8, 2014)
Looks like a fun romp through the British countryside with characters I want to know and maybe trust. Secret passages and hiding places make me want to turn the page faster to keep up with the action. (Alyson Widen 4:09pm August 10, 2014)
Hi Alyson! There's definitely a lot of action in the book. Thanks for dropping by. (Kate Maddison 5:38pm August 10, 2014)
