Kate Maddison is the USA TODAY bestselling and award-winning author of the Charlotte Sycamore series. Her research included a trip to London for a behind-the-scenes tour of Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. Kate grew up in Canada and found books to be her great escape. She got the writing bug at thirteen when one of her stories was read aloud in English class. In addition to writing Young Adult books, Kate has written over twenty historical romance novels under the pen name Kate Bridges.
