Romance Historical

With the night so full of romance...

Colin Pearce, the Earl of Ivorwood, never dreamed he'd desire another man's fiancée, but when his best friend goes off to war and asks Colin to look after the bewitching Josie Cardworthy, he falls under her sparkling spell.

Who can resist mischief?

Josie can't wait for the return of her long-absent fiancé. If only her beloved sister might find someone, too...someone like the handsome, reserved Colin. A gypsy's love potion gives Josie the chance to matchmake, but the wild results reveal her own growing passion for the earl. And though fate offers them a chance, a steely honor may force him to reject what her reckless heart is offering...

Honesty, sense of humor, true.
For both him and her. ;-)

Traits for a hero would be Scotish, rugged, smart, can hold
his own at a dinner conversation with unusual dinner topic,
funny and willing to laugh at himself, BANTER with females.
Traits for a heroine would be smart, can cause mischief,
wiling to laugh at herself, BANTER with males.

Just about anything really., as long as the story is
attention grabbing, i am not picky.

Thank you for the chance - I value the most trustworthy !

I think the hero or heroine should have a great sense of
humor. The hero should be strong, but know how to have a
soft and tender side when it comes to a woman. They should
both be smart, and be able to lean on each other when
necessary. I not only loved your posting today, and am
looking forward to reading your book, but loved the cover as
well!! Congratulations!!

Waving hello! Love reading everyone's favorite qualities--thanks for sharing
them. I especially value sense of humor/ability not to take oneself too seriously,
and also smarts and trustworthiness.

Sounds like a great book. I love strong, rugged, hero types - with senses of humor. Actually, as long as the story is great, I love all types of heros and heroines. Yours sound like fun. Thanks for the chance to win.

Your book sounds amazing! I need to go read it!

I like a nice hero, not too much of a rake. I like the cover and her pink dress. I'm not so picky about heroines.
(
Michelle Fidler 5:03pm June 25, 2014)

I look for strength, smart, determination, and humour in a heroine. In a hero one that comes across as a rake, but is actually a sweetie.

Both should be honest, honorable, kind and have a sense of humor.
(
Janie McGaugh 8:53pm June 25, 2014)

Different personalities are fine - actually great so I've got
variety in my reading. The important thing is that both hero
and heroine are kind and honorable.

I love a hero with strong loyalty and a good sense of humor and I love a heroine who can stand up for herself. In a guilty way, I also love for both of them to have a healthy sense of jealousy - it just makes everything more fun.
