Her neighbor, Jack, warns her to be careful when she begins to search out why someone is buying her paintings that she suspects is not for love of art. She uncovers a black market plot to sell artifacts. Jack has been the only one she could trust throughout, and then in a moment of panic, when all three men’s lives become entwined in the warnings of the curanderas, she worries that he too is out to kill her. While seeking to understand the meaning of her nightmares, the beads and the men, she is led to a shocking revelation. Will she survive the dangers? Is she running for her life, or from love?
