"Freedom Bound" is a novel based on the life of Anna
Kingsley. She was born in 1793 in Senegal of a royal line.
At the age of thirteen she was captured during a tribal
raid, marched across the country and endured the horrific
middle passage to Havana, Cuba. There she was purchased as
a slave by Zephania Kingsley, a wealthy owner of many
plantations in Spanish East Florida. By the time they
arrived, she was already pregnant with their first child.
Anna showed her amazing inner strength and courage during
her life as five times she lost everything. Her true story,
told as historical fiction in "Freedom Bound" is an
uplifting message of hope and inner strength.
