Seal the deal with a kiss. Zoe Larkin is facing the biggest career opportunity of her
life, and she’s not going to let Jase Garrett ruin it for
her. The infuriatingly sexy owner of the Rusty Wire, the
hottest honky-tonk saloon in Barringer’s Pass, flat-out
refuses to sell his bar and its surrounding land to her
employer, the Alpine Sky ski resort. If Zoe can convince the
stubborn cowboy to change his mind, she’ll not only impress
her rich, handsome boss, but maybe—just maybe—people in town
will finally start to take her seriously. When the Rusty Wire becomes the repeated target of violent
intimidation tactics, though, the spunky redhead’s
meticulous to-do lists and conservative blazers are no
defense against her wild child reputation. The only person
who understands what it takes to forget the past is standing
between her and the future. But is it the future she wants?
Or will Jase’s electric kiss ignite a fire in her heart for
the life she truly desires?

Re: Gold Fire
You could try the method used by Iain Banks: he writes Scottish fiction under that name and science fiction as Iain M Banks. So we all know who he is and what kind of book we are buying. If your readers really enjoy your writing style and plots, they will want to read more by you no matter what genre. Try again with the publisher, who seems very narrow-minded. Good luck with your new departure, you don't want to get stuck in a literary rut when there is so much creativity in your head! (Clare O'Beara 6:46am February 22, 2013)
The muse is a very fickle thing, I am glad you still can reign her in. (Carla Carlson 12:39pm February 22, 2013)
I love the plot you mention and look forward to reading it. You also solved a mystery for me. I always wondered why so many writers write in so many different names. I never thought about publishers requesting it. It gets confusing for me. (Gladys Paradowski 10:47pm February 22, 2013)
I loved the Movie Death Wish with Charles Bronson. And there's a newer movie on demand (tv) that my daughter in law has told me about, but I have not seen it yet.
Now, your book, I'd love, it's right up my alley!!!!!!!!! (Joanne Bozik 3:22pm February 23, 2013)
I admire your confidence in yourself and your works. I am a reader of all genre's. Cowboys are just sooooooo sexy, sounds like a good read to me. Good Luck! (Joanne Bozik 3:25pm February 23, 2013)
