Romance Historical

With more than 7 million books in print, RT Book Reviews Career Achievement Award-winning author Roseanne Bittner is beloved by fans for her powerful, epic historical romances.

Lettie MacBride knew that joining a wagon train heading West was her chance to begin anew, far from the devastating memories of the night that had changed her forever. She didn't believe she could escape the pain of innocence lost or feel desire for any man...until she meets Luke Fontaine.

Haunted by his own secrets, Luke could never blame Lettie for what had happened in the past. One glance at the pretty red-haired lass was enough to fill the handsome, hard-driving pioneer with a savage hunger.

Against relentless snows, murderous desperadoes, and raiding Sioux, Luke and Lettie will face a heartrending choice: abandon a lawless land before it destroys them, or fight for their...Wildest Dreams.

Re: Wildest Dreams

I used to love this subject as a kid and read a lot of YA historical, romantic fiction, one of my favorites was Torrie by the Johnsons.

Thank you for your post, Roseanne. "Wildest Dreams" sounds like a fine read. And I love the cover---a real eye-catcher with those rich but realistic colors. It evokes romance, and at the same time captures the spirit of the Old West.

Good luck with your new release!

Stories which have Native American Indians offer a glimpse into a way of life I'd like to get to know better. I like learning about their customs and traditions, the medicine man and how natural cures are passed down. Great cover depicting the West and the setting where conflicts may be settled and love traces a trail of wanting to return to the old days.

I love books set in the Western part of the U.S. There is just something romantic about the lives lived in that rugged part of our country. "Wildest Dreams" soundd intriguing.

I love old-fashioned love stories, but have never read any going back quite this far in time. I am really looking forward to it. I know even though it was a simpler, harder, time, the love stories seemed to be much more sincere and purer in their content, and you tend to get carried away in the story line. My Husband loves to read old Westerns, and it's just quite possible that he'd even enjoy reading it!! After writing as many books as you have, you've got to be doing something right!! Congratulations on your latest baby!! The cover is very well done, too!!

I love stories with a Western setting. There is no more romantic area than the American West.
