Many men had pursued Loveday Fairchild, the headstrong and
beautiful daughter of the dissolute Lord Fairchild. Now he

Loveday was forced to flee and the enraged winner, Theo
Tierney, balked of his rightful winnings, embarked on a
scheme to avenge himself.
