Inspector and a psychic, who join forces in a search for a
missing child, and become entangled with a group of Satanic
religious fanatics.
The main theme of the book is good versus evil, in a
broader prospective, the book explores the lengths to which
human beings will go to gain power. As a consequence of their mutual interest in finding the
missing child, the cop, Devin, and the psychic, Samara,
become involved in a stormy relationship, which each has
difficulty accepting due to previous misadventures with the
opposite sex. He is drawn to the mysteriousness which
surrounds her and ruthlessly pursues her, although she
resists him at every turn. A life-threatening incident
brings them together in a romantic way, beginning the
