Jet set stylist Rachel loves her job and her life. But the
good times come to a halt when Rachel learns that her best
client has been sleeping with her boyfriend--a perk that's
definitely not included in her services!
Impulsively,
Rachel gets her revenge--thanks to a hideous designer
mashup of an awards show ensemble--but her satisfaction
comes at too high a cost. Blackballed from the glamorous
life forever, she heads home to the last place she ever
thought she'd return, her snowy, tiny, totally
UNsophisticated Midwestern home town.
A short-term
Christmas fling might be just the thing to put the jingle
back in her bells, Rachel decides when she arrives...and
the local guy who's had a crush on her since high school
looks like an excellent candidate.
Hi Lisa! I can relate to your feelings of stress SO MUCH! A few years back when my youngest son mentioned he hadn't received anything he really wanted (he has always been extremely particular) I had a big blow up and announced I was no longer SANTA for the entire household. Since then I have enjoyed the season so much more. We don't exchange gifts other than things we can do together. For example going into the city for a special show (Wicked, for example) as a family. This year we are seeing the Transylvanian Orchestra together. Other than church, a nice meal on the day, and decorations, oh yes--and a big pan of baklava--that's it. I am so happy to be out of the Christmas rush and the stress of the stores. I love the season again! Hope yours is terrific! (Kathryn Albright 10:03pm December 4, 2008)
