Deke Malone got an early Christmas present -- an almost
two year old son! To say he was surprised would have been
putting it mildly. But it didn't take long for him to
realize that while being a dad wasn't easy, it was
definitely the best and most important thing he'd ever
done.
It made him think about his relationship with his own dad.
It made him think about going home to Montana for the
holidays and trying to mend fences long broken. He never
expected to find Erin Jones there! And Erin, now a widowed
mother of three, certainly didn't expect to see Deke
again -- least of all with a son!
Years ago Deke had called Erin his best friend. Years ago
Erin had been -- secretly -- madly in love with him. But
so much time had passed, there was no way they could
recapture the past. Or could they? After all, wasn't
