En route to the planet Vansan, Drake, Ferda, Rand and
Adlet settle in for an uneventful voyage while Rand heals
from his near fatal attack on the Hallidan Hub. But a few
days' travel from their destination, their ship is
attacked by space pirates. Searching the ship in the
aftermath of the attack, they discover they’re carrying
