Navajo Police Special Investigator Ella Clah has seen a
lot of death in the decade since she returned to the
Reservation, but nothing quite as bad as the latest
violent murder of a young Navajo woman. Something about
the crime scene reminds Ella of her days in the FBI, and
she calls on Agent Dwayne Blalock for help. And thats not
the only link to Ellas pastclues indicates that Ellas
father may have tried to stop this killer before his own
murder, ten years ago. Working long hours, desperate to
identify and stop a serial killer, Ella manages to squeeze
in a date of sorts with Reverend Tom Ford. Ellas father
