Mystery | Mystery Amateur Sleuth

Fundraiser Danielle "Dani" O'Rourke's gala event at the Devor Museum in San Francisco turns into a catastrophe when the body of a young artist she once dated plummets from her office window. The police think it was murder and suspect Dani. Self-preservation and an insider's knowledge of how money and jealousy can corrupt the art world drive her to investigate who had a motive for murder. Dani's playboy ex-husband alternately charms and annoys her, and a green-eyed cop complicates her life further as her search moves through the fashionable worlds of San Francisco and Santa Fe.
