Paranormal | Western | Fantasy Historical

This frontier ghost story is a romantic slip in gold-rush time, inspired by an actual EVP recording made in the Slide Cemetery, Dyea, Alaska, in which a haunting male voice can be heard calling, "Abigail...Abigail."

Historic Dyea is a true ghost town. There are portals to all ghost towns. They rarely open but when they d. you'd best slip through. A different choice would be foolhardy.

In 2017, Abby Gray is met with such a choice when she wanders inside the Slide Cemetery--a tragic part of Klondike gold-rush history--and hears a static rasp, as if from the grave, calling her name. Eli Cole stands outside the Red Onion Saloon and nervously checks his pocket watch. Time is almost up.

In 1898, 119 years earlier, Abigail Grayce wanders the same ground as Abby Gray, before any graves are called for in the gold-rush boomtown of Dyea. Abigail doesn't listen for a male voice and has another purpose. She means to climb the Golden Stairs and reach the Yukon gold fields.

Elias Colt is afraid Abigail might already be dead and races against the clock to find her. All four characters--Abby, Eli, Abigail, and Elias--are connected in time, but in which time, in which reality? The portal in gold-rush time is about to seal shut for all of time.
