Cyndie Zahner

CJ Zahner worked full time as a grant writer/administrator and part time as a freelance writer until 2015. That year, doctors diagnosed her only sibling with early-onset dementia. This diagnosis inspired Zahner to reevaluate own her life and her dream of writing novels. One day, after receiving a particularly demeaning lecture by a supervisor, she picked up her purse and quietly walked away from her full time job. She never looked back. She began her career as a novelist. Now, she rises before dawn, writes womens' fiction novels, runs, cycles, and smiles much. She completed her first two books, The Suicide Gene and Dream Wide Awake, and is nearing completion of her third and fourth books, Within the Setting Sun and The Dream Snatchers. A hard worker and story lover, Zahner is determined to read, write, and run happily ever after.
